We want to make sure that everyone has an exceptional experience at AFAC24.

We’re working hard to make sure AFAC24, ADRC24 and IFE24 are accessible and provide an inclusive environment for all.

The ICC has an online Accessibility and Inclusion Guide with information about the venue.

Key things to note include:

  • ICC has equitable stair-free access to all venues.
  • ICC can be accessed by foot, car, coach and light rail.
  • Limited number of wheelchairs available for free of charge hire (photo ID required).
  • Braille is provided on room door signage and directional signage, with tactile flooring at key points.
  • Infrared hearing augmentation in all meeting spaces, with complementary hearing loop devices available (photo ID required).
  • ICC participates in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program.
  • There are Accessible Toilets (RH and LH) throughout the facility.

In addition, here are some of the things AFAC24 have put in place:

  • We have dedicated Accessibility Leads available onsite
  • All sessions will have closed captions available
  • Our keynote sessions will have AUSLAN interpreters, with other sessions available by prior arrangement
  • A Sunflower Room, for those with hidden disabilities and sensory needs, will be available
