It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Institution of Fire Engineers Australia Conference 2025, held in partnership with AFAC and hosted in Perth from August 26th – 29th, 2025.
This year’s conference theme ‘From local to global: leveraging systems, capability and connection’ underscores our collective commitment to advancing fire safety, fire engineering, and emergency response in an evolving global landscape.
With a diverse and distinguished lineup of speakers from across the fire engineering, emergency services, and technology sectors, we are set to explore the existing and future challenges. Whether you are a fire engineer, frontline responder, researcher or policymaker, this event provides an unparalleled platform to share knowledge, foster professional connections, and shape the future of fire safety and emergency management.
IFE Australia has worked hard to provide relevant and topical educational content and bring together leaders in the fields of fire engineering, fire safety and emergency response. We aim to be the ‘Nexus between the fire services and the fire safety industry’.

The IFE25 Conference will be held 27 - 28 August 2025. The full IFE program will be available soon.
Delegates registering for any of the IFE events will qualify for CPD points. Please note that you must select the IFE conference option when registering to attend the IFE conference to qualify for CPD points.
IFE conference registration also allows you access to other conference streams and exhibition.
