Sam Cowen is an avionics technician and software developer, currently serving as Project Manager for BTPP and emergency services projects. With 15 years of experience in the aviation industry, Sam has contributed to the development of UAS platforms such as the Flamingo UAV and Cotesia with Silvertone. Sam has developed and integrated a variety of sensors to the Flamingo UAV, including a P-25 radio repeater. His career highlights include conducting surveillance operations with the ADF (Navy) and Singapore Armed Forces, and leading the largest UAV mapping survey in Australia at a proposed mine site in North Queensland.
